The Right Reverend Patrick Fodor
The Right Reverend Patrick Fodor

The Right Reverend Patrick Fodor is a native of Buffalo, New York. He is married to Crista Fodor, and together they have three children. Bishop Fodor was elected as the Third Bishop of the Diocese of the Missouri Valley, Anglican Church in America, on May 24, 2022, succeeding the Right Reverend Stephen Strawn, who died in Office in April 2021. Bishop Fodor was consecrated on November 12, 2022 in the Cathedral Church of St. John, by Archbishop Shane Janzen, Primate of the Traditional Anglican Church, Archbishop Juan Garcia, Presiding Bishop of the Anglican Church in America, and Bishop William Bower, Diocesan Bishop of the Eastern United States.

The Right Reverend Doctor Fodor earned a B. A. degree from the SUNY at Buffalo, an M. Div. from Brock University, an M.A. from the University of Balamand’s St. John of Damascus School of Theology, and studied at Logos House of Theological Studies in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. His Doctor of Ministry degree comes from Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He teaches as a full-time tenured professor of Humanities (Religion and Philosophy) at John Wood Community College.

Reverend Christian Canon Tutor
Reverend Christian Canon Tutor

The Very Reverend Christian Canon Tutor, OSA, is a Priest and Religious from the Diocese of the Northeast of the Anglican Church in America. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Writing and Philosophy, from Southern Oregon University, as well as a Master Degree in Theology in Pastoral and Spiritual Care, and Graduate Certification in Pastoral Care, from Marylhurst University. He entered monastic life in 1986, and Professed Solemn Religious Vows in July 1993, and renewed them in September 2006 in the Diocese of the Northeast. Father Christian was Ordained Deacon on February 2, 2007, and Ordained to the Priesthood on August 4, 2007.

Currently, Father Christian serves as the Dean of the Cathedral of St. John in the Diocese of the Missouri Valley, and as Canon to the Ordinary and Canon Liturgist for the same diocese. He also is the Director of Formation for the Deaconess program, and still oversees the same for the Diocese of the Northeast. He is the priest theologian on the ecumenical dialogue with the Polish National Catholic Church for the Anglican Church in America.

Subdeacon John Fodor
Subdeacon John Fodor

John Fodor was instituted to the office of Subdeacon by Bishop Strawn in 2021. He serves and assists with a variety of liturgical tasks. He graduated from John Wood Community College in May of 2022 and is pursuing a degree in theology from St. Bede's Anglican Catholic Theological College.

Mr. Gary Blickhan
Mr. Gary Blickhan

Mr. Gary Blickhan is St. John's residing organist. Blickhan is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he studied accounting. Blickhan is a CPA at Gray Hunter Stenn in Quincy. He enjoys playing chess and international travel. 

Bishop Stephen Strawn
Bishop Stephen Strawn

The late Bishop Stephen Strawn passed into eternal life on April 29th, 2021. He previously served as the Dean at St. John's Cathedral and the Diocesan Bishop for the Diocese of the Missouri Valley. Bishop Strawn, who served and led the parish and diocese through many challenging times, was from Dallas, Texas, and graduated from the Anglican School of Theology. He is survived by his widow, Annette Strawn; their four children; and six grandchildren. 

Deacon Charles Akright
Deacon Charles Akright

The late Deacon Charles Akright was an educator through Quincy Public Schools for 35 years. He served in the armed forces for 23 years, three of which he spent in Germany. He has served at St. John's Cathedral for many years. Deacon Charles is survived by his widow Sharon Akright, three daughters and six grandchildren.
